  • Lomax Legal represented a condominium unit owner in a foreclosure action brought by the client’s condominium association. After Lomax Legal mounted an aggressive defense and asserted counterclaims against the condominium association, the condominium association agreed to settle the matter by making a payment to the unit owner (including attorney’s fees and costs) who it originally sued.   • Lomax Legal successfully obtained dismissal of all claims (including breach of contract, unjust enrichment, negligent and intentional misrepresentation, and piercing the corporate veil) against its clients, a Florida-based LLC and the CEO of that LLC, in litigation arising out of a contract for the sale of millions of dollars’ worth of PPE at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic.   • Lomax Legal represented a franchisee in a multinational franchise and successfully resolved litigation related to breach of a commercial lease. The favorable resolution followed Lomax Legal’s aggressive and targeted pursuit of sensitive documents and information in discovery, showing that the landlord’s insurance protected the franchisee against claims arising out of business interruptions.
